Qat'Muk & Three Decades of Jumbo
Reasonable people do not mess with grizzly bears ... or their spirit home: Qat'muk. Yet for almost 3 decades people have been trying to build a resort in the grizzly's den. What would make presumably sane business people to create a town with no people to host an inaccessible year-round ski resort in a place already blessed with an abundance of readily accessible ski resorts?
Ian Cobb is the owner and editor of e-Know. Mostly, he's a journalist. He's been reporting on the proposed Jumbo Glacier Mountain Resort since the last century. |
